Dear Henry, The problem with History is like today we do not really know the mans struggles and the condition of his heart, but God did and does know that is why He is the only worthy judge of everyone. At one time I had a problem with the Catholic Church and was invited by a friend of mine to go with her. Well I was reluctant but went and praise God I met some beautiful believers and was totaly humbled. I learned that God has His people everywhere and He is the true Sheperd of all who believe in Him. Imagine that He does not need any of us but we all need Him. So I am not so sold on this sound doctrine thing for if they have not love in their heart it is nothing. Nancy

Henry, Anti-semitism was not forced on Luther from what I have gathered. He spent a long time trying to convince the Jewish people that Christ was their Messiah but was constantly met with vehemont opposition from them. You will find that most of Gods' generals throughout history have also had tenderhearts for the Jews and their homeland but have received the same type of receptions. I personally agree with Paul the Apostle that the Jews are jealous because God is preached to the Gentiles. But it certainly doesn't give anyone the right to condemn those who are reaching out to the Jewish community with Christ's truth and love, by calling them anti-semitic. -Chris
