Groove, as in enjoy, as in the old groovey, which still is a song I love, frankly, Feeling Groovey. Often I do exactly that. Feel very, very groovey. But I used the word "grove" in explaining the error to you. Grove means a clump of trees. No matter people have trouble understanding me. I re-read the stuff and go---huh? what the????....man, that's weird. Then I realize I just don't spell very good. :) Anyway, I think the post probably referred to the slow trip down to various depravities, and people are trapped in them. HOWEVER, on the flip side, I could have referred to people who all their lives fight off God because He represents abandoning all of our favorite naughty activites, people, places and things. And after they do find Him and slowly abandon these things, they are very happy because it is all replaced with things that are much, much better. Who knows what I meant. But it could be either of those things. I couldn't wade back through all that stuff for anything. I'm too hungry and have to go eat.
