Dear Johnnie: Welcome to the BAY thread. Now that TAVA no longer offers you the opportunity to scream TIMBER you feel you will find it here. Sorry, you are TOO late. Stocks trade on the future not the past. David House is well respected by the street and his words will be and are believed. JDN

No, Compaq is not a case in point. CPQ was grossly overvalued and entered a corrective phase. BAY on the other hand is merely only warning the street of slightly lower than expected revenues for a quarter or two along with increased demand for some of its products. Profit margins continue to be high. As Asia woes are not entirely behind us, other networkers are equally vulnerable. BAY could get cheaper as you suggest, but, in relation to the rest of the group, BAY in fact is trading at a discount and may actually be a BUY!
