Based on the auction, the highest realistic per-pop value for New York City can be derived from Denver.

(There are higher per-pop values than Denver, but they concern very small markets in New Mexico and I have therefore disregarded them. Denver yields the highest per-pop value for a major metropolitan area.)

The high bidder in Denver is BTA Associates, which is given a 25 percent discount. The gross bid for Denver is $9.22 per pop. Taking out the "funny money" component yields a "hard money" net bid of $6.915 per pop (75% times $9.22). If CVUS' New York license is worth $6.915 per pop, that yields a net worth for CVUS of $6.915 times 8.6 million people = $59.47 million + $12 million equity from plant and equipment = $71.47 million. Divide this number by 16 million shares yields a per share value of $4.47.
