Rob, I think you are addressing your concern to the wrong person. MEGS is somewhat of an expert on everything you said.<g> BTW.... 1. You got 64MEG BYTES. 2. They need a X8 organization since 8x8=64 so the RAMs are 8Mbx8 3. Trick questions... since you are only using one slot in this case you must be using a DIMM since SIMMS are x32 and you need to have it in pairs... Then the answer is SDRAM cince only it typically comes on DIMMs DIMMS come in other flavors...certainly EDO...and I believe early on... Fast page also.:-) DavidG
