That statement makes absolutely no sense.

You are willing to hold into a high risk situation where many investors are hoping for an upside surprise and bullish forecast? In which case a negative surprise is met by a nasty gap down.

But you wouldn't hold in a situation where the bad news has already been absorbed by the stock?

Strange trading methodology.
