there is a GUN DONE DEAL done for at least one plant in JAPAN. If runs as advertised the stock price will go with it.

that to me is the biggest issue re. this court thing they make these plants without the imm. control stuff .. THE JUGDE will say that tt has to help them build plants but they will have to build what they pay for ie 13mil vs. 5 mil get it yet?

I think the Devens project is different because of the usage of sludge. My guess is if it were only organic waste, they'd be all for it -- but sludge carries other implications as to the toxicity, etc. (genuine fears or not -- it does have a stigma). In Eastern Europe as well, from what I have heard (both company and personal sources), the smells of alternatives can be a lot worse (since the alternative to the dump will be composting). (And since there is legislation banning organic waste in landfills... as opposed to N.A.) So in Eastern Europe -- the thermophillic process is by far the least worst solution of many. In N.A.'s case -- there's lots of land so the problem can be more or less deferred for a while. Clement
