Dear Nancy: What I was saying is that everything the devil has to offer is a counterfeit of the real thing. Satan was thrown out of heaven for wanting the praise and worship that was given to God. Whatever satan can offer this world is for the express purpose of taking away from Jehova that which is dear to Jehova. What is dear to Jehova ? The souls of mankind. All the battle is about the souls of mankind; because the taking away of the souls of man is what is most near and dear to God. We are just pawns caught up in a much greater battle. Don't you get the feeling when satan comes against mankind that the greater hate is about God; and if he hates God think about how much moreso he hates Jesus. Do you notice the in your face attitude that Jesus had for satan in the encounters between the two of them? It only took Christ about two seconds to put the devil in his place and it should not take us any longer. We have an agenda, we should focus on Christ and Him crucified and risen; and just think of those firery chariots and angels on the mountain surrounding us here on the freedom thread::: God knows, I just cannot get the image out of my mind...Thank You Jane..In Christ.gregor
