Believe me I know how you feel ... I watched my money disappear with Ascend from the mid-fifties to the mid-thirties..... and it was a chunk of change!. I eventually got out after reading about some software problems with one of their flagship products ... the final straw I guess. I felt much better immediately and was convinced I really didn't care if the stock price went up or down ... I even slept better ! Course the price fell another 10 plus points but has since recovered to the point where I sold it (though its backed off again the last couple of sessions). I can't advise you what to do ...but if you think things are so bad, have you considered selling half or one third of your position?. Its not advice ... just another way of dealing with it. If the price continues downwards you at least have the consolation of knowing that you 'saved money' (okay, paper money). If the price stabilises and begins to rise ... well, so you miss 5 points before you rebuy the position ... In the meantime you can use the money elsewhere ... just buy a better stock or put it somewhere safe !!... I don't know - these decisions are tough. One thing you must do is forget what might have been ... you'll go nuts .. and it won't help you make good investment decisions in the future. I never seem to get 'free' lessons, so take it from one who has total empathy!.
