Sorry to butt in, however, I am looking at the financials such as Merrill (MER). A friend who worked there said,"...no comment, but I am not selling my shares...", it was up 3+ today. Also, the drugs have got to be considered. MRK has been terrific and is considered a safe haven and a split candidate, up 2+ today. I know these are not techs but much better on my peace of mind.

Greg:
Stopped by a Radio Shack (West Ft Worth)to see if they had the CPQ's yet. Owner has a space cleared, but no CPQ's yet.Where are the IBM's ?He says there are about 4 left in town, has to call around if someone wants one. What computers does the store use ?? He says they are all Dells', been there for years, so I look at the ones being
used behind the counter.
Am happy to have a bit of F, MRK, LU, and WLA to go along with Dell on days like today. Less painful. My old (Aug) sell point
on Dell was 70 . It headed for that one day (in Nov I guess) so I
made a decision to sell it in pieces, sold 100 at 71 , whereupon Dell turned up and I bought the 100 back at 78 the same day.
After that it has reached $140 so that was a very close and scary call. Now I don't have a sell point(unless it is $35), but would take the same approach today , that is if it got close to 50 then start
to sell, goes to 48 sell more, etc.
In summary give Dell a chance, as it can turn on a dime at those values. No need to miss any parties.

Regards, Sig
