Sergio,

Boomers buying larger homes...I want to go to a smaller one! When the kids were small was when we needed a big house, so I built it. Now they are gone and we have too much room and upkeep.

If boomer are buying larger homes it is status and not need. That's okay though. I own a whole pot full of RING. Status means big lawns and gardens and trees and .....oh my is that a bug on your rose bush Buffy?

RING should be reporting their first earnings soon that inclulde the rev's of the newest aquisition Southern Resourses....I can hardly wait. USHG is another that should benefit from all of this "look at me" mentality.

Okay, I drive a big pick up truck and wear a cowboy hat. I like to show off too.

>>I found the reason for DHI's sell-off in the afternoon. An analyst downgraded the home building sector. What a party pooper!!!<<

Heard on cnbc today someone upgraded the construction industry.

then the lady that predicted th 87 crash and is well respected on wall
street said that she expected interest rates to drop another 1/2%

both of these should bode well for the housing industry.

I also found it particularly interesting that it would effect DHI, CON the other acquisitions they had made considering the amount of backlog the companies already have.
