You could have a point there! It's just hard for me to believe that everything went so wrong so quickly.

BTW, just received my '97 Annual Report. Maybe I could cut out EP's picture and throw some darts at it or something.

Jim, some who post here seem to think that a company should be measured by their personal short-term gains or losses. To put things into perspective, for the year ending today, CPQ posted a 12-month gain of >50%. During the same period, Intel was up only 15%.

50% per year is a SUPERB rate of return. If that makes CPQ a "dog", I want to own a kennel.
