This may answer some questions about Baat news and company faxes. I copied two posts from "miraclewon" on the Yahoo thread. The same question was posed regarding receiving faxes from Baat. Also, more details from the news release were typed by "miraclewon" and are posted here for your review.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The way you get a fax from a company is to be put on their fax list.

Almost all public companies keep a list and fax out their press releases. Sometimes the faxes are faster
than some wire services sometimes they are not.

Call BAAT and ask to be put on their fax list.

Good Buying!

Here is another post from "miraclewon" on the Yahoo thread with excerpts from the news release:

The fax does not say how much BAT owns of the subsidiary.

Here is some more information from the fax.

"BAT International (BAAT:)TC) has been planning for its entry into the power generation business for
over 2 years, and has now formed a new subsidiary company, Southern States Power Company, Inc.
(SSPC).

With deregulation of the utilities now taking place in California and many states soon to follow, BAT
management saw an opportunity for BAT technology, which was developed for the transportation
industry to be applied to the power generation industry.

With 20 years experience as Technical Superintendent and Manager for Con Edison of New York (one
of the largest utilities in the U.S.) Josehph LaStella, president of BAT International, saw this as a logical
move for the company.

The new president of Southern States Power is Hebert Bishop, who has extensive contacts in the power
generation industry and
is a board member and part owner of Magna Energy Systems. Magna Energy Systems is involved in
several power generation ventures
including: the planning and construction of a 90 megawatt power plant in Henderson, Nevada, which
was built at a cost of $108,000,000.
The Henderson plant is one of the most successful co-generation facilities in the U.S. and has been
generating power for Nevada
Power for the past six years."

Fingers are getting tired, but you get the picture.

Have not been this excited about BAAT since the Skoda/Lockheed announcement.

Good Buying!
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope this is helpful in answering some of your questions. We will all know more tomorrow and must be patient for now.
Best wishes,
Rebecca

Yea when I see 'yahoo' it is a red flag.. The rest is taken with a grain of salt.

Can't figure such a real sounding story being fabricated but I guess anything could happen on that Yahoo site. I've not even looked that the treads on yahoo and have no interest after what I've heard about those fools...

Anyway I'm sure the post was with good intent and we will find out soon.
