You can cycle through charts and keep indicators the same if you don't use smart charts. You can turn this option off under Tools-Options-Chart Options. Unfortunately, if you turn off smart charts, you don't get the advantage of them - but you can save "Charts" with annotations for specific stocks.

I used to use smart charts by default, but found they really slow down metastock when moving from one chart to another. I prefer to avoid them now, and am happier. To annotate and save, I now save it explicitly.
