How about CPQ buying CPQ. Kill the DEC deal and offer us beleagered shareholders $30. a share. Do the LBO and take it back public when all is well.

Don't know why they don't announce a buy back unless it is regulatory.

The way it is going, don't know if DEC holders will approve. HWP or even CSC could go after DEC at this price. If they really think it will turn, they could write the crap out of LEAP puts and buy calls sufficient to offset the DEC dilution.

A CPQ holder since '89 but an added purchaser at the peak in October when Lucy Painter shower her incompetence by not even being able to calculate EPS.

BTW, over that period my 100 shares became 2000.
