Buffetology is a good FA book that covers a conservative long term investing approach to the markets. However, this approach has little in common with trading. So for FA for trading, I do not think this book has much to offer. There are probably better choices for traders.

I like Judy's approach to look at the FA of sectors. It is the improving earnings picture that helps attract money into sectors and keeps the money playing the stocks of a given sector or industry. This assumes the trader is aware of sector rotation and captitalizes on the new money inflow into a sector and its industries. I imagine this is where the trader can get in near the beginning of stocks that can carry price momentum for a significant period of time. I usually come across this type of stock after the fact and say to myself as I look at a strong trend that has been intact over several months: I wish I would of spotted THIS one much earlier.
