" Hmmm, they tell you to buy, they unload at high prices,
they tell you to sell, they load up at bargain prices????"

Analysts commit the biggest subtle white-collar crime against small investors, IMHO. Research shows that the analysts' ratings have no relationship with the long-term stock price performance. After an upgrade, many investors buy and the stock price moves up. Who sells? The principals of the analysts who have accumulated before the upgrade.

I am not saying analysts are dumb; they are not; but they act like clowns to benefit their principals, not small stockholders who get excited by an upgrade and shocked by a downgrade to fall prey to the design of a corrupt system. JMO
