I have an Ira in Fidelity and another account in E-trade
but I have problems every time I buy or sell with E-trade
the last time it took 45 min. to confirm my sell. But I
like very much their web site that I already opened an
Ira with E-trade just to keep the account opened and I will
transfer the bulk of my shares to Fidelity. Fidelity has fast executions and they provide instant quotes for FREE up to now
I do not have any problems they charge the same amount of
E-trade for trades and if you trade a lot they charge I believe
14.95 per trade but they charge $3 dlls. for limit orders.
Everytime I phone to Fidelity they have been courtious and have
been trying to help in my questions, but as I said I have not trade often in my Ira with Fidelity. About Charles Schwab I have not tried them I think with two accounts E-trade and Fidelity I have enough
for now, so I can not help you there.

Good luck!
