Now Shalom, I see you drifted from the important information I was trying to share with you about whether Jesus was a real historical figure, and what the Bible could be interpreted to mean, and went instead to some x-rated material you clicked on from one of the general sites. Naughty, naughty, naughty, Shalom!! It would not have even occurred to me to go to places like that, and I am a pagan. Why you, a devout Christian, would stray is just mind-boggling. Since I am not familiar with the Bible myself, I cannot argue with your refutation of interpretations which are kinder to homosexuals than you and other conservative Christians are. I can only say that I found many of them, written by priests and ministers who are used to interpreting the Bible, and of course more liberal Christian churches are wrestling with ministering to homosexuals, and tolerance is slowly but surely being shown, which gladdens my heart. I was very happy that Methodist minister kept his job after ministering at a lesbian unity ceremony. It is really hard for me to understand why, if Jesus performed so many miracles and everything, there was no historical record of him for 150 years after his death. That still is difficult to grasp as anything except making a legend or a myth to serve some purpose the people had at the time. And no one has really shown me any references that convince me that Jesus was heterosexual. Not that it matters to me!!! But if you are going to create a belief system that hurts a lot of people, you should be able to prove that there is some reality there, I would think. But I guess main feeling about all of this is that even though I am not a Christian, and believed that in some historical cases there were a lot of wars and unnecessary deaths due to fighting over Christianity and Christian beliefs, I still believed that the very main thing about Christians was their TOLERANCE. And that tolerance is totally missing from your views on homosexuals, and some of the other opinions expressed here by conservative Christians. You guys must really believe that homosexuality is a sin, and contagious as well. What if you are wrong? You are causing a lot of pain and suffering!! So I think I feel sorry for all of you for carrying so much fear and distrust and negativity around with you all the time. I would not want to be like that, so I am relieved not to be a Christian. But I still bet Christ would have loved and accepted homosexuals, if he existed, because that unconditional love is what Christ was all about, symbolically. Oh, one more thing, Shalom--don't you go believing everything that werid Dr. Jeffrey B. Satinover believes about homosexuals. He also sees mysterious computer patterns in the Torah. I think he is a little bit nuts or something!!vaxxine.com
