Earl, sorry for my late response, i had some busy days.
I guess Zeuspaul has already answered your question about my hardware pointing to my #reply-3536181. With respect to the Matrox win98 driver its always a good idea to check out matroxusers.com. You can find there (in the news section, March 11, 1998, "the matrox view") the following statement from Matrox [...]To keep costs in line, the Millennium 1 series is being pulled out of the unified drivers. This does not mean that there will be no more updates to the drivers, or that support for the Millennium 1 is over. Drivers for Windows 98 & NT 5.0 are in development so keep your shirts on!
