Excellent point. I think this is exactly why this sector is weak and will remain weak. The big problem is visibility. Remember two years ago? Currently we have Asian weakness, dram oversupply, margin slippage all over the place. We have layoffs and companies losing money (unlike 1996). There are serious financial problems in Japan. And I think that the low prices on PCs indicates the final unit growth spurt before demand slows. Are we at the bottom or still riding into the fog?
