Oh, anthic, I agree totally with your sentiments, and am happy that you chanced writing them when you thought the subject had changed. It is funny how topics get dropped in a forum like this, anyway. I think at some point there is general agreement that a discussion has gotten too polarized, or that everyone has had their say and any swaying of opinion one way or the other has already been accomplished, or that a big fight is about to ensue, or that everyone is bored. However, these threads are dynamic and free speech is not only welcome but encouraged here. Some people almost live at SI, and are always totally current on the threads they follow. Some people are away for a few days, or so busy making megabucks on their stocks they only stop by occasionally. So even if most people have agreed that a subject has been exhausted, certainly there will always be people just dropping by and catching up, reading posts from several days ago and commenting on them as they go. I guess the gist of this is that nothing is really ever over here. And I am sure that when something significant happens, some of us may want to kick it around again. So post as you please, anthic.
