sounds good to me! hit 12 bucks I believe...and bottom not seen yet...drillers can't make a buck below $14 a barrel, so they'll probably start hedging! Whatta the js do with gold? give it to Japan!

Ummmm. Somehow, some way, this would fail to work. Don't forget taht if oil continued to, um, tank, you'd be paying maintenance margin up the wazoo.

Wonder what effect the Asian crisis--if we assume taht at some point it worsens--will have on the prices of producers there. Will they try to persuade their OPEC colleagues to go higher, or will they be forced to increase production?

Gold? Somebody asked about gold? Been pretty boring lately, though you (or I, but neither of us did) coulda made a nice buck on palladium the last two months or so. They say gold is traditionally stronger in the first quarter, so we'll see...
