dj, why the 5% drop in a day when nobody cared about earnings? why did mu lose $100 mil from ops when their gross cost was below their asp?

DJ, the agreement with the IMF is of little consequence when dealing with the Chaebols.So, the money does not get to the semi division of Hyundai, but if Hyundai get an injection of funds to another "subsidiary", they now are free to use cash resources to support their semi sub indirectly. I still believe, however, that all that help will not be sufficient and some of them will have to fold their DRAM operations to concentrate on more profitable businesses. Zeev
