Buck and all,

I thought someone had posted a Fingerscan, Philippines connection---can't find it. Except for this.

Nat'l Computer Centre & Govt. Super'n & Insurance

The Army thing is coming out of trials. If successful--- should help to show that it will work for commerce in the U.S. Also from the article "That is why FMS decided to test biometric identifiers, choosing fingerprints because they are less expensive to digitize than other physical characteristics," Cost is always a factor...

About 3 or 4 months ago I got a tip from a lurker... They didn't respond back to my e-mail for a link or a possible reference. I haven't been able to prove or disprove it. I wasn't going to post this for fear of starting a rumor that I couldn't back up. But I would like to find out. I was told that Gemplus uses BAT for the biometrics. Is there anybody out there that can confirm or flame me for this???

Brad, it was Loretta that found the Turkey scoop and should be properly rewarded...
