Thank you. I knew someone would find the light!!! It is there.

Pat looked into Ashby's eye and asked the question that we all wanted to know and brought us the answer Friday.

We lost faith due to SNI's self promotion and Bay's warning, which was whispered on the street that a networker would miss, but no one knew which one. For course the guess had to be ASND, because they did it before. But that was before Ashby (BA). Now in the BA period I don't expect it to happen.

So let's hope for a good tomorrow now that someone with print has said what we all knew we bought this stock for in the first place.
Going up?, Dennis

Re: After-the-bell positive mention of ASND in thestreet.com article
JP Morgan analyst says ASND expects to meet the quarter

thestreet.com.

Excerpt: "As for Ascend, a company spokesman says the company
can fill its own gaps. "We have our own security products"
that already address the inevitable chinks in the armor of
routers, says an Ascend spokesman. And the company
expects to meet profit expectations this quarter,
according to analyst William Rabin at J.P. Morgan.
Rabin added that several carriers raved about Ascend's
asynchronous transfer mode products at a J.P. Morgan
conference in Dana Point, Calif. last week."

Everyone, be careful. I subscribe to thestreet.com and this article does not appear anywhere on their site. The link provided contains no data. I had been looking for mention on their site the last couple of days regarding the security issue, but it was not mentioned. A search of the site on "Ascend" does not show this article.

thank you for the j.p. statement on asnd making the number this quarter, especially when we have so many other networkers warning. the real question for me is not this quarter, but will asnd see double digit growth in the 2h98?
