Joe,

I totally agree. Any time your naked, you're taking on significant risk. While there are occasions when I like to lock up the call and know the price I'm going to get, it is debatable whether in the long run one makes out any better trying to sell the call first and then buy the stock (even if it's only minutes or hours apart)...

(But if there was only way to do things, what fun would that be.)
