Jack --

I wouldn't join if it were a combined buying-selling effort. There are too many complications and possibilities for problems. But, I would certainly join a cooperative to increase visibility with analysts, investor relations departments, and conferences.

Just my take.

Pat

<< What do you, and what does everyone else think?>>

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would be willing to allocate
~ 30% of my small holding to the "income maximization" COLLECTIVE. I think the problem would be; How would the strategy be generated?

Jack

I'm against "collective" anything when it comes to my capital. Besides collectivization implies some sort of cartel power and cartels do not work when things go south.

Witness Venezuela and OPEC.

No offense.:-) . Perhaps you should try a sector tech fund.

anarcho-capitalistically yours,

Daniel

Pooling of Interests - devil is in the details

Great idea, but I question the feasibility. Just tracking the holdings of the active posters, much less the lurkers would be a fairly onerous task. Especially since so many are trading the stock/options. And the time delays involved if you expected people to act in concert!?

A more modest goal might be achievable...say a monthly statement of positions - the goal being to get ASND IR to take the designated representative(s) more seriously. But even this would require a fair amount of bookkeeping. How do you track option interest? Short interest? Can we estimate holdings for people who choose not to participate?

Sorry to be a wet blanket. I'll go back to lurking now.
