GM,

You may know that TA is not taught in any of the prestigious B-Schools I know of; it is because there is no scientific/economic basis for TA. I do not believe in it. Actually, someone (regarded as a TA-expert by others) has posted about IOM's strong buy signal in Yahoo! thread just a few days before the recent crash.

All the best,
Sankar

Yes, this is the book:

The Psychology of Technical Analysis : Profiting from Crowd
Behavior and the Dynamics of Price by Tony Plummer.

The best book on TA (not T&A) ;) I've read.

And yes, I do play AMZN stock. It is NOT for the faint of heart.
It's also not a buy and hold. But, I'll tell you, I'm very
happy with my returns so far. I play it completely from the
chart. Looking for another 'retest' of 78 or a break of 88.

Also, that post was NOT meant at all as a slam to anyone here. I like
every person on this thread. I've learned a lot from this thread
over the past 3 years... I try to return what I can, although it's
never taken the right way...
