This guy is a whining cry baby. Who cares if MSFT and Intel dominate the market. I am crying all the way to the bank with the tons of $ I have made on Intel and MSFT. I just really do not care if they monopolize the market.
The problem with monopolies of the past (railroads) was that the public at large could not share in the wealth. Not so now.
We need standards. There is nothing I dislike more than computers with personalities. Imagine the day when every computer worked the same. Only then will the PC become universally accepted by all ... old, young, smart and not so smart.
