Denni -

does anyone know if this works the same with netscape?

AFIAK, it's not IE that makes this possible, it's the OS that remembers what you had running when you shut down. Irix (and maybe Slowaris?) will do the same thing with *all* applications. If I've got 30 different winterms and xterms open on 30 different hosts and log out, when I log back in, all 30 windows will be reopened and I'll be automagically reconnected to all 30 hosts (username/password permitting, and assuming you started them that way).

HTH,

justinb

Denni, mark the "connect automatically" tick box to do this painlessly and make it remember your password. The problem here is anyone and his dog who turn on the machine can get onto the web and unless you have your e-mail separately passworded can do mischief.

Netscape should do it to, it is an attribute of windoes to take you back to where you were.
