Is that correct? That is significant.


Included in that number were some company insiders who also wanted a 1998 tax event, so SI can't claim all 22%. I'd guess anywhere from 18 to 20% would be more accurate. It was still an impressive number and may have been the first time retail shareholders had blocked a closing. We weren't opposed to being bought, but to TI shoving it through in '97. It was bad enough having to accept all cash.

I'm glad you and Gary have made your presence known with Ascend. We on SI benefit and so does the company.
