tek: interesting observation- during the last two corrections, the p/e of the brokerages drops to about 10 at the bottom, rises to about 20 at the top. we're at 15-18 for the big guys right now.

Anything the Japanese can do, the US can do better! Including (especially?) manias! I wouldn't be surprised if we set a new "mania" record on this blowout bull run. That would still be consistent with your 15-year cycle theory, wouldn't it?
