DGIV vs. FTEL

Hiya folks,

Over the weekend I did a little writeup on DGIV in here, just to introduce you to this relatively unknown internet telephony company
called DGIV Or Digitcom. digitcom.com
for all those internet telephony fans.

If you look at a chart it has risen from .46 friday to .64 currently. And I believe the best is yet to come.

For those without an inkling of a clue of what DGIV does or offers to internet telephony...it is this:

Their market plan is essentially to hook up internet telephony with already existing local phone companies overseas and sell them this cheap internet telephony technology in order that these local co's can compete with LD within their same country.

They currently have a great europe telephony agreement. Feel free to page through their Yahoo news from the past few months.

In other words, unlike FTEL (thus far) they have a marketing plan which is taking place in the form of agreements and deals.

I haven't a clue how their internet telephony technology compares to FTEL's...my personal opinion from what I've heard you investors say is that FTEL remains number 1 in voice quality.

However, DGIV has a great marketing plan it is carrying out. And while high quality voice is awesome...we know it comes down to who can sign the contracts and bring revenues in.

NEW DEVELOPOMENT: If you read the SI board on DGIV... you'll notice that 5 people have verified through DGIV's IR that there will indeed be a article about DGIV in the Investors Business Daily next week and will be on the front page. She doesnt know yet if its DGIV specific or internet telephony in general (but would specifically mention DGIV in a positive note in it).

My guess is a broader story focusing on DGIV as an example in internet telephony.

My question is: will FTEL be in this article as well? If not, that is only more positive for DGIV. If so, it is positive for both DGIV and FTEL.

FTEL should be a buy at $4...it has bounced of this level many times in the past...so I don't see why it wouldnt again.

DGIV has the momentum with it. It's a slow steady rise with only a
5 million share float and a wonderfully small spread for such a float.

Please feel free to read the few informative messages about DGIV in recent days on SI under the DGIV msg board. I don't believe you will be disappointed.

Good evening,

-DavidCG

Hey lighten up first of all there have been many post that have not even mentioned the thread clown. I know I have not addressed a post to it since I was yelled at by a bunch of people to ignore him.

the bottom line is now the company's performance is struggling as
evident by the stock price
The stock price is not predicated on whether the company is actually struggling. I admit that it may be predicated on perceptions. I know better!!!

I would like to see frank step to the plate and explain what is really going on in writing, other companies do so and are willing to talk to small investors. Not likely, Frank knows what he has and he respects the small investor im sure, but this is not your typical BB company. These guys dont just say they play with the big boys, they actually are dealing the cards. The question remains is whos buying the pot?

I understand your worry but some posters feel very emotional about the trash talking that FTEL is receiving. Nobody likes to have dirt kicked in their faces. I say if you feel that someone has said something that is not only untrue but slanderous you should eat them alive publicly. Thats why I applaud ELK and jack who have not only labeled this poster but have proved the unwillingness to discuss openly all aspects of this company and his own past history. We all know that every company has had negative situations arise. ie disney boycott, yet look at that stock.

Nuff said

Seth

BTM, You are absolutly right, it's time for Franklin to put up or shut up.
After talking to Helen my guess is we will not get full nas listing and will have to settle for small cap. There are No signifcant orders so far but we can expect news very soon. The news will be on the order of the last releases- more fluff and nothing significant... Joe

>>so far ftels stock price has been my biggest loser in a while. I am hoping to recover but as much as i hate to believe it>>

I guess you waited too long to buy and didn't "Beat the Market". <ggg>

I was thrilled when it was at 10 but I am still way ahead even at the current price. I don't mean to pour salt in your wounds but I don't think your sentiment is felt by the everyone here. Some folks bought in the October run but most of us have been in a lot longer and are still ahead.

RB once said (and maybe he can repost it) that the stocks that benefit their investors the most are usually the ones that also give them the most grief before they take off!

Sit tight and keep the faith - things are happening...

tick tick tick....

Having a bad day are we??

For the record, I'm long on FTEL too, which is something Valuespec is not, and as a shareholder I'm tired of his/her BS. You do what you want.
