INTEL IS LOOSING OUT ON LAPTOPS, AMD K6 IS CLEARLY THE HIGH END.
Check out the compaq web site. compaq.com
Also check out Your local CompUSA and Office depot for the compaq laptop model 1621 with the AMD K6 233 in it selling at retail for $2299 and that is a faster processor selling for AT OR BELOW the Intel Pentiums with mmx. And it is outselling the Pentiums with mmx also. See My previous post. AMD looks like a good base is forming.
