I think the C6+ will last beyond that into '2000. A version with onboard video could go out through 2002. KISS will last throughout the x86 chip cycle. We may see more action on other aspects of the PC going into the first decade of 2000 than the micro. If so, we can ride a wave for a while. Video, internet, RAM, HDD, etc. will be bigger factors for improved performance than something done at the micro level alone.
