This is becoming a classic case of a junior having its hands tied by a major, who may have other priorities. Tom Strake' remarks must have been born out of frustration and anger - you don't usually attack your joint venture partner so openly. If Barrick follow these things (they probably don't) they will know that PFG wants OUT. They probably know it anyway. Who knows what happened at the P&D or in Miami? Frustration is showing. Alternative lines of attack have to be prepared for the future.
