Mike:
If you really want to worry, try Japan's M3 at 40% plus (see Grant's). For the life of me, I can't sort out what Japan's leadership is trying to accomplish, given the remarkable array of crazy things going on over there. Two things I do know, is that their business sector is taking it in the neck, and their banking scene is growing desperate. They also have a virtual "buyers strike" in place. Looks frightening to me.

With most jurisdictions pumping liquidity like water, the markets will continue to float for a bit yet, but the anticipated earnings problems are arriving right on schedule, like flies to a picnic supper. Spoils the party to be sure. Happiness is being a bear with patience.

Best, Earlie
