Gloria - There are three little bears that post here. BellBoy, R. Bushman & taxikid.

Because this stock had been at a low price, there was not much short interest in this stock. As the news came out that they are changing business strategies, the activity on this thread, both long and short has increased.

no, short interest is bullish, because those that have gone short will have to EVENTUALLY buy.
so that is what the advanced theory is, the higher the % short interest the slower the price goes down.
significant price drops have occured in many stocks after the bilk of the shorts cover, because at that point there are far fewer buyers. ok you aren't playing with me, you just need to learn some. that is ok, time will get you where you want to go.
