please know that Mr. Fink was exposed on the wcii thread as having engaged in blatant dishonesty--attributing a negative opinion to an "analyst" which never took place. he was asked to leave that thread.

I, too, am disappointed at the descent of this thread to name-calling. From the standpoint of an engineer and investor who got professionally interested in LMDS and professionally involved with the precursor companies of CVUS in 1993, I have found the postings by Mr. Fink here to be among the more interesting and fact-based -- especially his updates on the auction when it had just begun. I track the auction pretty carefully, but it was useful to see if there was an SI post by Mr. Fink that might have noted a trend in some of the market areas of less interest to me, just for the overall sense. I don't know and I don't care if Mr. Fink posts as Rumplestiltskin on Yahoo! -- I find it a waste of my time to pick through that thread, anyway. I think anyone who is critical of another poster skewing or slanting the truth is missing the point of a thread -- when you read a post, you have to consider the content AND the source. There is an amazing amount of absolute drivel on the best of threads, CVUS on SI is no exception. But amongst the garbage and self-serving grandstanding, along with the certifiably incorrect "intelligence" -- on SI/CVUS there is some useful information. And I would say that Mr. Fink has contributed a generous share of it. Those who disagree, consider the source, and react accordingly. But please don't continue mucking up the thread with ad hominum attacks and speculation as to who is also posting as whom. I for one don't care, and I'd appreciate less occasion to just pass over posts that are just more about SI posters than CVUS.

I did note some incredible frequency of postings by some on the thread -- generally in bursts, perhaps consistent with a bipolar personality 'A' phase. Apparently some of us don't have day jobs? :)
