Meaningfully exceed in terms of revenue (think last year was only $510); believe that earnings will be more in the $.15 anyway.

Plug in around $580 in rev, a 2% drop in gross margins, operating expenses growth fairly small as stated in CC - adds up to more than $.10 in my calculations.

Thread: Bottom line is BAY is a BUY - is now, was during the last two weeks, will be for a few months. BUY, ACCUMULATE, MARKET OUTPERFORM, BUY, STRONG BUY - they are all BUYS. It was a BUY as it fell, except for those who had to tend to their margins, or those who wanted a short-term trade, it is a BUY now and will be a BUY for a few months, until it goes past $45.

Despite all the claims and counter-claims, nobody had hard negative news during the recent sell-off, neither analysts, nor institutions, nor the general public. Those that sold judged the lack of news, or the partial news from the channel correctly for this quarter, that's all. Those that bought, or were bullish, believed the information given by the company or interpreted other information optimistically for this quarter. The company information was not so badly wrong - if the US market reported half-yearly, as in the UK, instead of quarterly, the 2-3 week slippage in sales would not be noticed and the company would have met its targets and expectations. Those who were optimistic were right, the BAY story is a good story which will get better.

Victor
