If you live in the U.S. and bought your BMW here, you have nothing to worry about. They use different cylinder liners in the engines in U.S. cars because of the sulphur problem. I have a 328, too. Great car!!

Thanks for the tip... I'll have to inform the Mrs. and take appropriate action on her little 2.8L pocket rocket she purchased last year.

Oooppss!!!! Just saw the response from Rick D. Oh well... But I'll take our "Bond-Mobile" up against them 328's anyday, that is when she lets me drive it.... <wink>
