has it been like that all morning or did it just start

they said MER has been moving this week....(which means leaking of the news....by the time it hits CNBC it has run the rumor mill of the big boyz..now the little guy gets in..and you might think about selling at least 1/2 of your position soon....on the rumor
leaving the 1/2 for the news

Chris - FWIW, I have a friend who is a broker at MER. The word at the broker level within the company is that there is no way that (1) MER will sell at $100 (which apparently is the rumored price), or (2) that MER will sell to a bank. Great trade, but be careful. Bill (PS - Terrific thread)

Bill is right

MER emphatically denies they are for sale.

This must the a thing where they dont want to comment until after the market closes or something.
