Mohan,

I think that DEC might be troubled by the fact that CPQ stuffed its channels and publicaly denied that it was doing this while the deal was being negotiated. It is fraud IMO.

Mohan, As CPQ goes down in price, and more is revealed about CPQ problems, I'm sure Palmer is having seconds thoughts. Think about it, DEC has had a bit of a turn around. Why give in when you can more glory on your own?

Greg

Could be true.

As I recall, the 'DEC Deal' put the value of DEC at about $60, based on 1/2 cash and 1/2 in CPQ stock. (Someone please correct if not accurate) However, CPQ has declined considerably since then, so it wouldn't surprise me to find DEC shareholders and management unhappy.

Regards, 3.
