DCF, Please don't read deception, or word twisting into my questions, just really would like to know. I've never accused you of those so you needn't worry. I generally try to take everything on the face of how it's presented (I have a pretty poor memory so I rarely remember old battles <g>) love is an appreciation of the beauty of God's creation. The wonder and joy of this complex and fascinating world. God's love is his joy and pleasure at his creation. compassion is our recognition that we are all flawed in many ways and struggling with many of the same challenges. God's compassion is his understanding that we are flawed creatures and his infinite love for us despite this. fate is simply God's judgement. If I am wrong and a literal interpretation as presented here is accurate that fate for me will be very unpleasant. But I believe I was given a free will to make such a choice. celebrate is how we live our lives to best honor God. I am not a scholar so I can not quote scripture to support my beliefs. I can only tell you what is in my heart. I have not been visiting this thread long enough to ascribe motivations to various posters. I will say that I believe there are very few people of ill will in this world. Most of us are trying to live good lives. Many fail, but that is just one more reason for compassion.
