To anybody: I put together an indicator to show the relative strength of a stock in defensive mode (TA S&C 4/98 p.52).

plotdir := P / Ref(P, -1);
basedir := C / Ref(C, -1);
relstracc := basedir - plotdir;
If(plotdir <= 1, relstracc, 0) + PREV

It seems to work fine, but to use it, I have to add a plot of the S&P onto my base security then drop the formula on the S&P plot. I was hoping that MS had a more direct way to reference another security in a formula. Similar to the way they do Relative Strength Comparitive. Anybody know?
