Soomuchfun, my first undergrad degree is from Yale. The school colors are nice, but not nice enough for the debt I am carrying :-). Email me if you care to. The reason why your math doesn't work, IMO, is that you are assuming a non-revolving capital base for the financing.
If they loan out 100k in one week, the loan is repaid with interest, and the same capital plus interest is used for another loan the next week. From what I understand, the financing division is targeted at the smaller temp companies. From the rate they are growing, their ability to finance bigger and bigger companies will continue to grow as well. Once again, you assumed a non-revolving cash base.
