Fund Buys:

It appears that a 'financial institution' made the following buys:

FBNW 200k shares @ 19.000 - now at 19.875
FMER 600k shares @ 32.875 - now at 33.000
TOK 700k shares @ 16.750 - now at 17.000

nice charts too...

Jenna, that volume in the mar 70's is possibly expiration activity rolling into the apr 75's?

Market Rap: I had some interesting plays today. 4 plays today:ZOMX, CYBX, ROST and ASI. One negative: GDYS Others were good but I did not get in: ACCS ran but came back for yet a second run. ANET did well also and it should continue to do well tomorrow. SAWS saw some strength and I'll continue to watch the above stocks tomorrow. I like the position of ADTN as well. I did not get the TWX options because it's too close to options expiration and there is no earnings report to drive the stock. I like the idea personally of a longer watch list consisting of yesterday's stock performance, 1/30 volume ratio and a good indicator. I could pluck off the good ones and did not have to shave off 1/2 of the list. To those joining us in the #marketgems chat room or subscribing to our daily watch lists, we will give you detailed instructions and strategies for entry points on our watch lists.

From the earnings board: WTSLA ended the day on a strong note. MCCRK popped very nicely, same way it did for the last 3 earnings quarters. SRCL was uneventful but should be up tomorrow. OSTE finally broke out after a 2 week lull and my april options awoke. PRGS had a nice earnings report and is doing very well. GRST had a positive report and is uptrending also. HIBB should pick up volume and do well tomorrow, but it needs watching. SKFB had a great earnings report last Wednesay, unbeknownst to me and was up from 15 to 17. This could retrace it's gains. I never got a buy signal in URBN, TSCC, BROD, KBH and PMTS. Still holding RFMI but will sell tomorrow if it continues down. So far the only earnings bust was GDYS and a partial one from JBIL. Some on the earnings watch list never came into into buy territory, and yet another MENS came for a 4 3/4 point gain in under 1 hour. It's now in it's customary hibernation stage. JBIl was clearly not going anywhere yesterday when I sold, but GDYS had me surprised as well as the analysts that just last week upped their EPS for that company. Still holding WGO from 12 1/2, and RXSD 37 7/8.
