I would be more specific, but didn't want J Taylor after me for copyright infringement. You may see the document yourself, and thereby make your own decision, I will not be one to do that for you.

Mr. Pool,

I owned this stock once (upon Jay Taylor's recommendation). But I soon found out that management had little regard towards the small share holder. But since Jay recommended it again I decided to take another look. Doesn't seem like much has changed with management.

The following is an excerpt from Jay Taylor's news letter which may be found at miningstocks.com

THERMOTECH TECHNOLOGIES UPDATE

On Friday March 6th, I received a call from Stanley Lis, President of Trooper Technologies to inform me that Friday the 13th, would be the day that Thermo Tech Technologies would be fined C$5 million and President Branconnier would be thrown in jail due to contempt of court charges. Details were sketchy from Mr. Lis so I called Trooper back and spoke to another senior member of that company's management team. What I was then told sounded very suspicious to me. Essentially, I was led to believe by Trooper that the judge had already made up his mind that Thermo Tech was in contempt of court, even without a hearing. Therefore the sentence for Mr. Branconnier and a fine of $5 million was only a formality that would be set on Friday the 13th.ÿ My reaction was, " you must be kidding! A criminal trial would be held without the defense having an ability to defend itself?ÿ Give me a break!"

After discussing this issue with Thermo Tech, I became convinced the stories being published by Trooper and spread widely by the company on the Internet were basically nonsense. It appears that my read of this was in fact correct because yesterday the Judge McKinney of B.C. threw contempt charges brought against Thermo Tech by Trooper, out of court. As I understand the details of the proceeding from my discussions with Mr. Branconnier and Ed Bows, the attorney for Thermo Tech, Judge McKinney of B.C. wondered why in the world this contempt case was even brought before him. He said he reviewed the documents and since an engineering firm vouched for the fact that Thermo Tech had already delivered all it was obligated to deliver under the Licensing agreement, he could see no grounds for any contempt of court charges.

Judge McKinney reportedly told Trooper that if they wanted to seek a contempt charges against Thermo Tech, they should go back to Judge Cohen, who had initially heard the complaints by Trooper against Thermo Tech and who had ordered some, but not all the things Trooper had requested. What Judge Cohen did not have that Judge McKinney did have was the opinion from independent engineers stating that in fact Thermo Tech had delivered all the technical information that it was obligated to deliver under the agreement between the two companies. For that reason, it would seem unlikely that Judge Cohen would find Thermo Tech in contempt of court either, unless the legal system in BC is more like that of third world countries than I believe it to be.

There is little doubt that the actions of Trooper are confusing many investors and keeping a lid on the price of Thermo Tech's stock.ÿ What is good about this is it gives those of you who have not yet bought the stock an opportunity to buy it at a steep discount before the lid blows off. I am as convinced as ever that Thermo Tech is a tremendous speculative investment opportunity while Trooper on the other hand is little more than a stock play.ÿ I would encourage subscribers to place a small percentage of their portfolios in Thermo Tech Technologies if you have not already done so. This remains my favorite moon shot for 1998. Buy it now before it becomes a household name.ÿ Call Ed Koreker in Toronto for additional information at (905) 450-8866.
