kim: I have been on chat lines for several years in addition to watching clients and pro traders since 1984...it is the same every time. The fundamentalists who extrapolate a stock price get a sudden shock. It is a strange and inexplicable phenomenon, this falling in love and working oneself up into a frenzy. My broker and I have this argument all the time. He falls in love and buys into a story. I tell him that it is top tick on the chart. The reason I am a chartist is that in our business, a girl cannot get into the boys club, especially in the mining game. I said #@$*! You!, learned to read charts, and became the "girl plunger". Now they all watch what I trade, but still never believe me when I say top tick. I can't wait for my web site to come on line in mid-April.
